My Boys

I have three boys who share my heart.

Though to protect them from the evil villains out there, I cannot reveal their secret identities.

Kaiden- My bug loving, frog finding, Wii playing 8 year old.  He is my sensitive soul, but don’t be fooled he is all boy.  He once spent a year and a half wearing the same Superman costume everyday, complete with red undies.

Tristan- 2 Years old and proud of it.  Wakes up with a smile and has a “get in the game” mentality.  There is nothing he won’t attempt on his own.  Just don’t make him angry.

Nathaniel- My Husband.  Life has knocked him down a few times but he always manages to get back up.  With the help of a good woman of course.

I can describe the difference between my two boys with one short story.

We call dandelion’s wishes.  If you have a child at all you know why.  Kaiden, my 8 year old will gently pluck the wishes from the earth, careful not to knock off any of their fuzz and softly blow the white dust from the weed while thinking of his wish.  The wish then floats through the air with such grace you can almost hear  it coming true.

Tristan will find a long stick and whack the hell out of the wish where it stands.

His way is faster…

Hi! I work with your mom. I read your Blog during a recess break and forgot to use the bathroom because I couln’t stop reading. Then I taught writing for 30 minutes in a very distracted way. I’m not sure if my kids learned anything. Thanks a lot.
You’re a hoot Mom of Steel!
